Development of new materials on specific needs of customers, based on nanoparticles that give to composite structures special physicochemical properties with particular regard to process and production costs issues.

For the development of new materials Pq uses advanced instrumentation for the characterization of the prototypes, such as:

  1. Morphological structure characterization of the materials for the assessment of the nature and morphological structure (crystallographic structure, size and shape of the nanostructure, etc..) by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (TEM, SEM).
  2. Optical characterization using UV-Visible spectroscopy both in absorption and in emission
