Nanocomposites with absorption of plasma: nanocomposites based on metal nanoparticles (gold, silver, etc..) homogeneously dispersed in optical grade polymer matrices obtained by techniques in-situ and ex situ.

Applications: Color Filters, UV Filters

Thermochromic nanocomposites: nanocomposites based on metal nanoparticles passivated by organic molecules dispersed in optical grade polymer matrices obtained by thermal decomposition of appropriate organometallic precursors with optical properties dependent on temperature.

Application: Optical sensors for temperature monitoring

Luminescent Nanocomposites: nanocomposites based on Quantum dots-metal and / or semiconductive with properties of luminescence dispersed in optical grade polymer matrices.

Applications: optical proximity sensors, filters for down-conversion for photovoltaic systems, anti-counterfeiting and traceability of products (paints, inks, adhesives, etc..)

Polymer-Graphene Nanocomposites: graphene nanocomposites with increased physical and mechanical properties, dispersed in polymer matrices

Applications: functional packaging, electronic inks, conductive inks, batteries, tires, etc
